The Role

As an Senior Electrical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc..

• Shall be well versed with engineering of various Electrical and Mechanical Packages.
• Shall be functioning as lead and be able to handle teams of engineers and designers on medium-to-large projects.
• Prior experience of working on ADNOC, ARAMCO, QatarEnergy, QatarEnergy LNG, and OQGN projects are  added advantages.
• Shall be well experienced in estimation and proposals for Electrical as part of bids for onshore and offshore projects.
• Shall be well experienced in conducting checks and reviews of documents within the discipline, with exposure to internal and 3rd party external audits.
• Excellent soft skills are required. Good clarity in communication is required, with clarity in both written and verbal communication. 
• Shall be able to independently guide a team of engineers and designers, with involvement in skill development, performance improvement programs and training of personnel.
  

About You 

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• 18-20 years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design. 
• Onshore upstream and downstream (Oil and Gas, Petrochemical) experience is required.  
• Offshore (Oil & Gas) project experience is preferred.
• Specifically, shall have EPC experience in 132kV/33kV GIS substation work. This includes handling 16-20MW four-stage compressors motor starting, medium voltage VFD, frequency converter, and 33/11kV substation design.
• Shall be well versed in all Electrical Engineering Design, for both FEED and Detailed Engineering projects, with good exposure to international codes and standards. 
• Candidate must have extensive working experience in the following as a minimum:                                        
  • Single Line Diagram, 
  • Metering & Protection Diagrams, 
  • Design Basis, Specifications, 
  • Data sheets, Electrical Load List, 
  • Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment, 
  • Lighting Calculation using Vendor softwares, 
  • Procurement Support by developing Inquiry Requisition, 
  • data sheets, 
  • Technical bid evaluation, 
  • Vendor drawing reviews, 
  • Substation Design, 
  • Power, 
  • Lighting, 
  • Cable routing and 
  • Earthing layouts, 
  • Cable Schedules, and all bulk MTOs. 

• Experience in Power System Studies using ETAP/ SPEL would be desirable.
