Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager - Stores
Job Summary:
By joining us as Senior Executive / Assistant Manager in Logistics & Export or Import, for leading all aspects of and optimizing the company's logistics and Export-Imports operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination. This role involves, execution, and analysis of logistics processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Handle the entire export and import process, from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare and process all documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers to arrange transportation and customs clearance.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
• Analyze current logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
• Give to the development of the annual logistics budget and handle expenses within budget.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and standard methodologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with export/import activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, import/export, and transportation laws and also applicable government regulations, including export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and complete logistics documentation.
• Own the import/export process, including customs clearance and documentation and supervise the packing process, negotiate with packing vendor for cost reduction.
• Develop key performance indicators (critical metrics) to measure logistics performance (e.g., Gate out pending. On time delivery, ASN, POD)
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance for management.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to address any performance issues.
• Handle relationships, rates and contracts to ensure pricing and service levels with transportation providers (carriers, freight forwarders, etc.)
• Be responsible for the selection of transportation modes (e.g., truckload, LTL, air, sea) for optimal cost and delivery time.
• Well- versed and up-to-date on all relevant export and import regulations, laws, and trade agreements and Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Conduct regular audits with internal policies and procedures.
• Oversee warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
• Optimize the packing processes to improve efficiency and throughput.

• Proven understanding of export/import regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Oracle, customs brokerage software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Confirmed experience in Logistics - export/import operations.
• Confirmed experience with customs regulations, export controls, and international trade documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience to [Relevant Field - e.g., International Business, SCM, Logistics].
