Senior Manager - Maintenance & Facilities

Position Title: Senior Manager

Experience Required: 15+ Years

Location: Vengal

Reporting To:  Plant Director 

Key Task:

• Ensure smooth operation and upkeep of all plant machinery, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment.
• Monitor daily machine performance, analyze downtime, and drive corrective & preventive actions.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
• Manage AMC vendors, service providers, and facility contractors; ensure compliance to safety & quality standards.Oversee plant facility systems—HVAC, compressors, power distribution, lighting, firefighting, ETP/STP, building maintenance.Prepare maintenance plans, schedules, checklists, and maintenance reports.Support energy management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, safety, and environmental norms for plant and facilities.
• Lead small improvement projects for infrastructure upgrades, new equipment installation, and layout modifications.

Educational Qualification:

• BE / BTech – Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• MBA – HR / Operations / Industrial Management (preferred)
• Additional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or Maintenance Systems are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of utilities, mechanical systems, electrical distribution, and facility operations.Hands-on experience in preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, spare management.
• Familiarity with safety standards, statutory compliance, and industrial facility requirements.Good understanding of TPM, 5S, RCA, Kaizen, and maintenance documentation.
