Senior Manager - Strategy & Business Development

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate development of Long-term/ short-term strategic plans.
2. Drive budgeting process – Opex & Capex.
3. Coordinate special initiatives to achieve short-term/long-term plans
4. Map trends of Container, coal, fertilizer and agri cargo trends (Based on future retail/ steel/ power/ cement plants, domestic production and consumption trends and connect to five year plan)
5. Identify partners for strategic customer or JV relations
6. Analyze interconnects between cargo, rail, road and other government policies and its implications 
7. Develop analyses and frameworks/ tools to guide strategic decision-making amongst cross-functional leaders
8. Prepare strategic analysis reports based on commodity reports, competitor analysis etc
9. Assist CEO during Business Review Meetings, performance monitoring meetings, executive committee meetings, prepare MOM and monitor the progress of actions taken. 
10. Coordinate with Head of Departments on budgets/ forecasts/ performance monitoring and operational issues.
11. Analyse systems & processes and recommend suggestions for improvements

Qualifications

Graduate with MBA / PGDBA from Premier Institute.

5 to 10 years of experience in Port, Shipping and Logistics is preferable
