About the Role:

Avias India is looking for a highly experienced Senior Marketplace Reconciliation Lead to own and manage end-to-end reconciliation for all ecommerce marketplaces. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring revenue accuracy, settlement integrity, and financial control across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other key marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end marketplace reconciliation operations across all platforms
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly settlement reconciliation
• Reconcile high-volume transactions including sales, returns, refunds, and cancellations
• Ensure marketplace payouts are accurately matched with bank credits
• Identify, analyze, and resolve short payments, excess deductions, and chargebacks
• Manage and track claims, disputes, and recoveries with marketplaces
• Review and validate commissions, shipping fees, penalties, and platform charges
• Maintain strong internal controls over revenue and settlement processes
• Prepare and present reconciliation MIS and variance analysis to management
• Drive process improvements and automation in reconciliation workflows
• Coordinate closely with accounts, GST, and finance teams
• Support GST and revenue reconciliation related to ecommerce transactions
• Mentor and guide junior reconciliation executives (if applicable)

Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of experience in marketplace reconciliation / ecommerce finance
• Deep hands-on expertise with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and other marketplaces
• Strong understanding of settlement cycles, fee structures, and policies
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, large data handling)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience handling large order volumes and complex reconciliations
• Good understanding of accounting impact on ecommerce revenue
• Ability to independently own and close reconciliation cycles

Preferred:

• Experience in D2C
• Experience in process improvement and reconciliation automation
