Job Role - Senior Refrigeration Technician: 

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our manufacturing team, which focuses on building electric refrigeration units for cold logistics vehicles. You’ll play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, servicing, and testing of our next-generation refrigeration unit.

Responsibility:

• Assemble refrigeration and HVAC components such as compressors, fans, piping, and refrigeration components.
• Fabricate, bend, flare, and prepare copper refrigerant lines as per system layout and routing.
• Install vehicle refrigeration systems with proper mounting, insulation, and secure connections.
• Perform nitrogen leak testing to ensure leak-free refrigerant circuits.
• Carry out system vacuuming and refrigerant gas charging as per specified procedures and quantities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in refrigeration systems.
• Repair or replace defective refrigeration components.
• Perform brazing and soldering of copper lines during installation and repair work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including checking refrigerant levels, compressor oil, and cleaning heat exchangers.
• Maintain service and installation records accurately.
• Follow safety procedures for handling refrigerants, gases, and equipment.
• Stay willing to learn and adapt to new refrigeration and HVAC technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in vehicle AC / transport refrigeration / industrial HVAC / residential AC systems.
• Hands-on experience in brazing, soldering, copper pipe bending, flaring, and refrigerant piping work.
• Knowledge of vacuuming, refrigerant charging, nitrogen leak testing, and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand refrigeration schematics, piping layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with product build from prototype to production is an added advantage.
• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
• Good workmanship, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
