Role: ETL Developer

Location: Offshore (Chennai preferred / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune) - Hybrid

Who are we looking for?

The ETL Developer is responsible for building and supporting end‑to‑end data ingestion and transformation pipelines feeding the IR data platform. The work involves integrating data from enterprise/legacy source systems into Snowflake, applying transformation and quality rules, and enabling downstream consumption (ODS / fast access layer / datamarts / reporting). The role also supports orchestration patterns (batch/CDC/streaming as applicable) and production readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

• 4–8 years of ETL development experience with strong coding capability.
• Snowflake (data ingestion/loading patterns, SQL-based transformations).
• Informatica for integration and ETL execution patterns.
• Spark / Hadoop ecosystem exposure for big data processing use cases.
• Strong programming + SQL fundamentals (coding quality is explicitly emphasized)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

(These are recommended for this program based on adjacent ETL senior expectations; use if you are hiring for stronger profiles)

• Python / PySpark exposure and pipeline troubleshooting skills
• Experience with framework-driven ETL development and automation mindset (TDD/automated unit tests)
• Understanding of Insurance or Financial Services reporting.

Qualification:

• Somebody who has at least 4-8 years of work experience.
• Education qualification: Any degree from a reputed college
