Senior Team Member - Facility

The Facility Shift Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight and maintenance of utility systems and infrastructure. This role ensures the smooth functioning of essential equipment and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The technician plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized facility environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The technician will be responsible for executing routine, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure optimal facility operations. Responsibilities include:

Daily Tasks:

Energy meter readings and documentation

Inspection of DG sets, compressors, pump rooms, and STP

Monitoring EB panel room and transformer yard

Diesel stock monitoring and updates

Maintaining 5S standards in utility areas

Execution of routine maintenance work

Adherence to Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Issuance and management of work permits for external vendors

Weekly Tasks:

Preventive maintenance and updating check sheets

Review and update of critical spare parts list

Maintaining 5S in the spares room

Updating utility equipment history cards

Providing weekly improvement suggestions

Updating and verifying hazardous waste register

Inspection of air conditioning chillers

Conducting weekly service and spares review with HOD

Completion of fire pump audits on Gensuite

Monthly Tasks:

Implementation of one Kaizen improvement

Inspection and maintenance of automatic doors

Execution of monthly preventive maintenance and AMC service visits

Maintaining 5S in utility and spares rooms

Managing EB bill documentation and payment follow-ups

Monthly inspection of fire extinguishers

Regular checks of street and plant lighting systems

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) with a valid C License • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facility operations • Strong understanding of utility systems and safety protocols • Familiarity with maintenance documentation and compliance standards • Good communication and coordination skills
