Site Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day project execution on construction sites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in civil works, site coordination, quality control, and documentation, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams to ensure timely completion of works.
• Execute civil activities such as RCC, masonry, shuttering, reinforcement, finishing, drainage, and external development.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and verify material requirements as per BOQ and drawings.
• Inspect and verify workmanship quality, adherence to method statements, and project specifications.
• Maintain daily site reports (DPR), labour records, and work progress documentation.
• Assist in planning work schedules and material deliveries.
• Provide technical guidance to site workers and ensure safe working practices.
• Coordinate with client/consultant engineers for inspections, approvals, and clarifications.
• Report project progress, issues, and site constraints to the Project Manager.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–7 years in building / industrial / infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings (structural and architectural).
• Knowledge of construction materials, codes, and work procedures.
• Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and site documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
