Software Project Manager
Major Accountabilities:
Lead the design and development of product system architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Define the overall structure, components, interfaces, and behaviors of complex automotive systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Analyze the capabilities and limitations of product systems to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize stakeholder requirements to define clear and comprehensive system requirements.
Develop and document system requirements using standardized formats and tools such as DOORS to facilitate traceability and validation.
Define and manage the interfaces between system components, subsystems, and external entities, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.
Utilize MBSE methodologies and tools such as SysML to model, simulate, and analyze system architectures and behaviors.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and threats to system integrity, reliability, and safety.
Develop validation and verification plans to ensure that system requirements are adequately validated and verified.
Define test cases, procedures, and acceptance criteria to assess system performance, functionality, and compliance with requirements.
Establish and maintain configuration management processes and procedures to manage changes to system architecture, components, and configuration.
Perform FMEA to systematically identify potential failure modes, their effects, and the likelihood of occurrence within the system.
Use SysML to model system architectures, requirements, behaviors, and interactions, facilitating system-level analysis and design.
Use Polarion to manage system requirements, test cases, and verification activities in an integrated environment.
Implement On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) standards and protocols to monitor and diagnose vehicle systems and components.
Configure, analyze, and validate Controller Area Network (CAN) communication networks for use in automotive systems.
