Amazon's Digital Acceleration team powers digital purchases and the subscription lifecycle for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, amongst other digital businesses. We drive how digital products intersect with Amazon's retail store, executing billions of digital purchases every year that enable our digital businesses to grow their businesses worldwide. As Senior Manager of Software Development, you will lead the team of SDMs and SDEs to develop services supporting ingestion, publishing and vending of catalog of Digital products. You will own Tier 1 services expected to perform at high availability and low latency. You will work closely with product team to define the roadmap and 3 year strategy. You will work with internal stakeholders to identify short and long term goals and product features that create new ways for subscription businesses to offer their product, growing subscription options for their customers. We are looking for someone who is customer focused with a passion for innovating to facilitate business growth and create a first-class customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
