Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Patient Care: Perform initial assessments, monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature), and provide direct care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and wound care.
• Clinical Duties: Administer medications (injections, IV, oral), assist physicians with procedures, and collect lab specimens.
• Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date patient records and electronic health records (EHR).
• Operational Support: Manage ward inventory, sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including infection control and emergency response.
