STORES ASSISTANT

  • Receive, inspect and maintain record of all incoming and outgoing materials, tools and equipments.
  • Conduct regular check / scheduled stock-take and update the Asset Inventory form on a scheduled basis.  
  • Maintain all materials, tools and equipments and ensure they are in good condition at all times.  
  • Maintain material stocks to ensure a continuous supply of materials is available at all times and inform Section Manager / Buyer of any replacement required once the stock reaches the minimum stock level.
  • Ensure the materials, tools and equipments in the store are always slacked and identified with pin card/tag neatly. Maintain records and alert superiors of any abnormality in the consumption of materials, tools and equipments.  
  • Maintain records of all hired equipments on site and ensure off-hire and breakdowns are recorded accordingly.
  • Maintain User Daily Records of all materials, tools and equipments being taken from the site store.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Company systems.
  • Other duties as directed.
  • Keep track of preventive maintence schedules of all plant & equipment at site and ensure in time maintence.
