Stores Keeper / Stores Manager (Food Operations

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Stores Keeper / Stores Manager to manage inventory and storage operations for a food service establishment. The candidate should have strong knowledge of quality control, FIFO practices, stock handling, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and consumables

• Implement and monitor FIFO (First In First Out) procedures

• Ensure quality control of incoming and stored materials

• Follow basic storage, hygiene, and safety practices

• Coordinate with purchase and kitchen teams for stock requirements

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports

• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, or wastage

• Handle inward and outward stock documentation

• Ensure proper labelling, storage conditions, and shelf-life tracking

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Stores Keeper / Stores Manager

• Experience in food industry / hotel / restaurant / catering preferred

• Strong understanding of FIFO, quality checks, and inventory control

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, stock reports, emails)

• Ability to work independently and maintain discipline in stores

Languages: Hindi/ English / tamil

• Certification in stores management or inventory control is an added advantage
