Structural Design Engineer

A project  Engineer for a pre-engineered building [PEB] structure manages the technical and logistical aspects of a project from start to finish , coordinating between design, production ,and site teams. Their responsibilities include technical guidance  ,project planning ,scheduling ,quality control ,site supervision, and ensuring the project meets safety and budget requirements. They are responsible for planning and executing  the installation ,managing subcontractors ,and reporting on progress to management .

TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT:

  Provide technical advice  , review engineering drawings, and safety regulations

PROJECT PLANNING:

Develop and manage project plans,   timelines, and schedules, coordinate with design teams ,review shop drawings ,and prepare the necessary documentation and reports.

SITE EXECUTION  AND SUPERVISION:

SITE COORDINATION: Act as the main technical point of contact on site  ,coordinating with subcontractors  ,foremen, and vendors.

QUALITY AND SAFETY : Implement and monitor quality control and safety procedures, including site safety and environment[HSE] guidelines.

SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT: plan and monitor site activities like anchor bolt casting , erection and alignment to ensure timely completion.

MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING

PROGRESS REPORTING :Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients on a regular basis

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage the efficient use of labor and equipment.

RISK MANAGEMENT: identify potential project risks early and develop contingency plans.

COMMUNICTION    AND COLLABORATION

TEAM COORDINATION: Work closely with design , production, construction, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth project flow.

STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION: coordinate and attend meetings with clients , designers, vendors , and sub  contractors.
