Supervisor Cum Engineer - Road Project

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day road construction activities at site
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, labor, and machinery operators
• Monitor quality of materials (earthwork, WMM, GSB, bitumen, concrete, etc.)
• Measure work progress and maintain site records (MB, DPR, bills)
• Ensure safety standards and site discipline
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of road works
• Report progress and issues to Project Manager / Senior Engineer
• Handle minor technical issues at site independently

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering
• Experience in road / highway / infrastructure projects

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in road construction (flexible as per need)

Skills Required

• Site supervision and execution knowledge
• Understanding of road layers and construction methods
• Basic knowledge of surveying and measurements
• Ability to manage labor and contractors
• Good communication and reporting skills
