Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Manpower Planning & AllocationPlan and allocate manpower according to production schedules.
- Ensure optimal workforce utilization across shifts.
- Monitor absenteeism and arrange replacements when required.
- Coordinate with HR for contract labor and new hiring requirements.
- 2. Shift & Attendance ManagementPrepare and manage shift rosters.
- Monitor daily attendance, overtime, and leave records.
- Ensure adequate manpower coverage during peak production periods.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to company policies.
- 3. Production SupportCoordinate with production supervisors to meet daily output targets.
- Ensure manpower availability for critical operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen).
- 4. Compliance & SafetyEnsure workers follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist during audits and inspections.
- 5. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain manpower utilization reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower reports.
- Track productivity and efficiency metrics.
- Maintain records of contract labor and vendor manpower.
- 6. Team SupervisionSupervise line leaders and workers.
- Resolve workforce-related issues and grievances.
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings.
- QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in manpower handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handling contract labor is preferred.
- Skills RequiredStrong workforce planning skills
- Good knowledge of labor laws
- Leadership and people management
- Communication and coordination skills
- MS Excel and basic ERP knowledge
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
