Supply Chain Project Specialist

  • Purpose

Supply Chain Project Manager (later SC PM) executes project deployment from Supply Chain portfolio based on prioritization and facilitates requirement management and supply chain footprint impact with stakeholders.

SC PM represents supply chain for competitiveness and executes tasks to fulfill productivity, profitability, and customer value in mind. SC PM scope is platforms, modules and components supplied by global supply chain and developed by KONE Technology.

SC Project Manager focuses on managing projects according to SC strategy on Industrialization, supply chain footprint and Changes.

  • Executing or contributing for small industrialization changes, cost reduction and improvements based on business case.
  • Keeping the Ordering process (and more in general KSC processes) in good health, supporting Process Owners and KSC Line Managers
  • Understanding Supply footprint in different areas
  • Safeguarding area supply with safety, sustainability, and productivity in mind
  • Helping and supporting release testing
  • Managing and solving process hiccups
  • Helping individual SL Orders eventually facing inconsistences

Entry-level requirements

  • At the minimum B.E / B.Sc. level technical degree, preferably M.E / M.Sc., in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Fluency of English plus local language
  • 1-2 years of experience as Project Manager for instance collaborating with various stakeholders, running various projects successfully.
  • 3-5 years of experience as Technical Design Engineer (Creating new or maintaining product designs or system engineering knowledge) or NPI Engineer (Introducing new products to manufacturing lines), Supplier Quality Engineer (Maintaining supplier quality of current products), Supplier Qualiy Manager, Quality Engineer (Running and operating in different Quality Assurance roles)
  • Willingness to take responsibility.
  • Ability to lead people and teams.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, customer service attitude and ability to solve problems and influencing skills in order to get other organizations’ people committed and working for goals.
