Surveyor - QAQC Fit out

Ø Purpose of Position

• The job incumbent is responsible for performing inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.

• Major Responsibilities

• -   Third Party Inspection of Civil QAQC including interior fitout on Commercial/Residential Projects on a continuous basis
  -    Acting as an extended support to the Client team to control the vendors’ deliverables.  
  -    Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement.
  -    Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports
  -    Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards), 
  -    Review and approve contractors’ inspection & test plans (ITPs)
  -    Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
  -    Review and approve method statements with the architect (if required).
  -    Coordinate with design consultants for technical validation.
  -    Witness factory inspections, mock-ups, and prototypes where applicable.
  -    Ensure testing and commissioning procedures are validated.
  -    Manage documentation for QA/QC closeout (checklists, test reports, certificates).

Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                        
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.     
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects

 

• Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
• On-time delivery of Reports
• Client relationship – Retention and Growth.
• Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.
• Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)
• To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.

 

• Qualification and Experience

General:

• Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Civil) with 8+ yrears of relevant experience or DCE with 11+ yrears of relevant experience.

Technical:

• Knowledge of QA/QC in Interior and finishing works of Commercial/Residential Building shall be preferred
• Knowledge of PMC, NDT tests and material test will be preferred.

• Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
• Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.
• Ability to work in a team.
