We are currently seeking a Linux Engineer to join in Chennai or Bangalore.

Linux L4 Engineer

• Linux L3 expert for server administration
• Expertise in OS , S/W, Patch Management, Product upgrades
• Perform performance tuning and hardware upgrades as required
• Experience in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
• Experience in clustering
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
• Perform Periodic COB tests and document the results
• Load balancer and firewall concepts, security aspects, and virtual IP, DNS, DHCP concepts
• Understanding of Monitoring tools like Splunk, Sensu, ITM
• Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
• VMware understanding and exposure
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
• Experience in ticketing tools(SNOW)
• Good understanding of operational framework like ITIL/ITSM, operations process

• Linux certifications  will be considered an advantage

• DevOps experience is a strong plus
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Team player and basic leadership skills
