Tamil Typist

Job Summary The Tamil Typist is responsible for accurate and timely typing of documents in Tamil, including official letters, notices, reports, exam materials, and data records. The role requires strong Tamil language proficiency and typing speed with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities: Type documents in Tamil with speed and accuracy

• Prepare official letters, notices, circulars, and reports
• Convert handwritten or printed Tamil content into digital format
• Edit, format, and proofread Tamil documents
• Maintain confidentiality of documents and data
• Update and manage document records (soft and hard copies)
• Support administrative and office documentation work
• Type bilingual content (Tamil–English) when required
• Required Skills & Qualifications Any Degree / Higher Secondary (10+2)
• Tamil Typing Certification (Lower / Higher preferred)
• Good knowledge of Tamil grammar and spelling
• Proficiency in Tamil typing software (Inscript, Unicode, Bamini, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and computer operations

Preferred Skills

• Basic Tamil, English typing skills
• Attention to detail and time management

Typing Speed Requirement Minimum 30–40 words per minute (Tamil) with accuracy

• Working Hours Full-time / Part-time
• 6 days a week
