Job Summary

The Team Lead – Field Recruitment is responsible for leading and managing a team of field recruiters to achieve the monthly hiring targets. The role involves planning recruitment strategies, coordinating with business teams, conducting field hiring drives, and ensuring the onboarding of candidates within the defined timelines. The Team Lead will ensure the team meets the monthly payroll hiring target of 40 employees while maintaining quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management

  • Lead and supervise a team of Field Recruiters.
  • Assign hiring targets and monitor daily recruitment activities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.

2. Recruitment & Hiring

  • Achieve a monthly hiring target of 40 payroll employees through field recruitment activities.
  • Conduct field hiring drives, walk-ins, campus drives, and job fairs.
  • Source candidates through field visits, local references, job portals, and vendor networks.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates as per job requirements.

3. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with regional managers and business heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Ensure timely closure of open positions.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and HR teams.

4. Field Recruitment Activities

  • Conduct recruitment drives at local markets, job fairs, institutes, and community locations.
  • Build strong local candidate pipelines for continuous hiring.
  • Maintain relationships with training institutes and local employment networks.

5. Reporting & MIS

  • Track recruitment progress and team performance against targets.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on hiring status.
  • Share recruitment updates with management.

6. Onboarding & Compliance

  • Ensure proper documentation and smooth onboarding of selected candidates.
  • Coordinate with HR operations for payroll and joining formalities.

  • Monthly Payroll Hiring Target: 40 Employees
  • Team productivity and hiring conversion ratio

  • Candidate quality and retention rate


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of recruitment experience, preferably in field or volume hiring.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of team handling experience.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in bulk hiring / mass recruitment
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in field-based recruitment environments
  • Strong MIS and reporting skills
