In-Process Quality Inspector

Team Member - Quality

In-Process quality Inspector is responsible to ensure the Quality management system is being followed in the plant and good parts are being shipped to customers.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in Measuring Instruments
• Ability to read and understand Drawing specifications and standards - Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD & T)
• Experience in Data collection, monitoring of daily rejection trend and problem-solving techniques like 8D , 7QC tools
• Participating in CFT activities - Problem solving, Process Evaluation etc.
• Experience in Layered Process audits, Safety Audits, process audit, product audits & Dock audits.
• Attitude to learn in new process initiatives / improvements.
• Experience using CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine)
• Knowledge of Quality Tools (Control Charts, Run charts, Statistical Process Control, Gage R & R, Calibration)
• Hands on experience in SAP - QM module

Schedule/Travel Requirements

• Ability to Work in shifts

Job Requirements & Qualifications (Mandatory requirement)

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Key Competencies

• Action Oriented
• Timely Decision Making
• Functional/Technical Skills – PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan, SPC, CMM.
• Problem Solving – 8D Analysis, 7 QC tools
• Soft skills like Microsoft Excel , Power point , etc
