Role OverviewThe Telecalling Sales Executive will be responsible for calling customers, understanding their material requirements, generating orders, following up on quotations, and supporting the sales team to close deals. This role is critical in driving daily sales and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Order Generation

• Call existing customers (contractors, builders, site engineers) daily
• Enquire about current and upcoming material requirements
• Generate orders over phone and WhatsApp
• Share quotations and price updates with customers
• Follow up on pending quotations and open leads
• Customer Follow-up Regularly follow up with inactive or past customers
• Remind customers about repeat orders (cement, sand, steel, etc.)
• Handle basic customer queries related to pricing, availability, and delivery timelines

Coordination

• Coordinate with the billing team to ensure accurate order processing
• Inform logistics team about delivery requirements when needed
• Update sales status to the manager daily

Data & Reporting

• Maintain a simple customer calling and follow-up record
• Update order status and customer feedback
• Report daily call count, orders generated, and pending follow-ups

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate
• 1–3 years experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer support (hardware/construction preferred)
• Comfortable speaking in Tamil & basic English
• Confident phone communication and persuasion skills
• Ability to handle multiple calls and follow-ups daily
• Basic WhatsApp and mobile handling skills
