Job Description

A Telesales Representative drives revenue by selling products or services over the phone, engaging potential customers through outbound calls, and closing sales. Key responsibilities include hitting sales quotas, managing CRM systems, and utilizing persuasive communication to handle objections and meet call volume targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Sales: Initiating calls to prospective customers to sell services or products.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Contacting potential clients to generate leads and building customer relationships.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, or monthly sales quotas and call volume goals.
  • Objection Handling: Addressing customer concerns and objections professionally to close sales.
  • Product Knowledge: Learning and explaining product features and benefits to prospects.
  • Database Management: Recording customer interactions, updating contact information, and managing client details in a CRM system.
  • Follow-Up: Conducting follow-up calls to nurture leads and ensure customer satisfaction. Workable +5

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Basic English proficiency, verbal skills, and active listening to understand customer needs.
  • Persuasion & Negotiation: Strong persuasion skills to convince customers to make purchases.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and remain calm under pressure.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and telephone systems.
  • Education: Typically high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree is often a plus. Workable +3

Working Conditions:

  • Office-Based/Remote: Often desk-bound in a fast-paced, target-driven call center environment.
  • Hours: Generally, 10:00am – 6:30pm Monday to Sunday working hours. Every Tuesday is a Week-off.
