Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to contribute to generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills, and be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about products or services.
  • Answer questions about products, prices, and terms.
  • Follow a prepared script or conversation framework to engage customers.
  • Persuade prospects to purchase by offering accurate and relevant information about the product.
  • Record customer information accurately in the CRM system.
  • Handle customer objections and follow up with prospective leads.
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads and follow up with any interested parties.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and call quotas.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues related to sales.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to handle objections and manage rejection effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills:Previous experience in B2B or B2C sales.
  • Knowledge of telemarketing or cold calling techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work Environment:Office-based or remote depending on company policy.
  • Regular working hours with the possibility of overtime depending on sales targets.
