Job Title: Territory Manager


Location: Chennai


CTC: ₹4,00,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum

Job Summary


The Territory Manager is responsible for driving business growth by recruiting, developing, and managing a team of Retail Partners and Insurance Consultants. The role involves achieving sales targets, building strong distribution networks, and ensuring consistent productivity across the territory.

Key Responsibilities


1. Recruitment & Team Building


Recruit Retail Partners, Partner Model Consultants, and Insurance Consultants.


Build a strong and stable field force to ensure sustainable business.


Conduct interviews, selection, and onboarding of new agents/partners.


2. Business Development


Drive sales activities in the assigned territory.


Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.


Monitor performance, provide field support, and execute business plans.


3. Training & Development


Provide regular training, coaching, and skill enhancement programs.


Conduct meetings, review sessions, and mentoring for partners and consultants.



4. Territory & Channel Management


Manage and expand the distribution network in the assigned geography.


Strengthen relationships with existing partners and ensure high engagement.


Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory norms.


5. Market Expansion


Identify new business opportunities and local markets for recruitment.


Plan and execute field activities, recruitment campaigns, and promotional events.

Required Skills & Competencies


Strong communication & leadership skills.


Ability to recruit, motivate, and manage large field teams.


Result-oriented with good analytical and planning abilities.


Relationship-building and people-management skills.


Knowledge of insurance sales will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria


Experience: 6 months to 1.5 years (Sales/Marketing/Insurance preferred).


Education: Graduate in any discipline.


Other: Two-wheeler preferred; age 22–45 years; male candidates preferred (as per your requirement).
