As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and leveraging automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role encompasses overseeing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to elevate control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software products, while actively identifying opportunities to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to implement best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and debugging automated test failures.
- Understanding of version control systems and collaboration tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
