Location: Chennai
Job Summary:
Tambora is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Operations & Event Execution Manager to oversee vendor management and ensure seamless execution of events from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all event vendors (decor, catering, entertainment, logistics, etc.)
- Oversee complete event execution until successful closure
- Ensure smooth on-ground coordination during events
- Handle event setup, dismantling, and safe return of materials to the godown
- Monitor timelines, quality standards, and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during execution
Requirements:
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle pressure during live events
- Prior experience in wedding/event management preferred
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
