Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a high-energy, seasoned Warehouse Manager to lead our F&V (Fruits & Vegetables) distribution center in Chennai. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of a large-scale facility, overseeing a massive workforce of 175+ personnel (including supervisors, loaders, and sorters) to ensure timely delivery and minimal wastage of perishable goods.

• Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Direct management of 175+ on-ground staff, including shift scheduling, performance tracking, and training.
• Inventory & Quality: Maintain strict oversight of F&V quality standards, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices to minimize shrinkage and spoilage.
• Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate high-volume daily inward and outward movements to meet tight delivery windows.
• Process Improvement: Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency in sorting, grading, and packing.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily reports on stock levels, labor productivity, and operational costs.

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 3–10 years in Warehouse Operations, specifically within the F&V, FMCG, or Retail industries.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing large teams (100+ members) in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MS Excel.
• Language: Fluency in Tamil is highly preferred for effective communication with the ground team; English for reporting.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a "quality-first" mindset.
