Warranty Engineer - Automotive Quality and Supplier Recovery

Warranty Engineer (GWC)

• Drive actions for NA warranty spend concerns jointly with QB / PD.

• Determine the liability for warranty claims and costs for externally supplied parts/components/systems.

• Track/investigate status of CPR ( Cost Per Repair) high contributors project status in JIRA. 

• Drive the resolution of technical field concerns, related to supplier recovery, using the G8D problem solving tool and drive the escalation process between Product Development and Purchasing.

• Review and approve functional Warranty Part Requests

• Initiate actions jointly with QB using 13 Warranty Reduction Tools for high spend parts . 

Co- Lead – PAT meeting and FSQR meetings jointly with QB for driving actions.

• MS Office with advanced Excel tools and PowerPoint

• CQIS / GSAR data analysis

• DMAIC / 8D methodology 

• BSAQ

• Quality . AI

• JIRA tickets handling. 

• Data Cubes / ECB

• Knowledge and experience in Data Analytical and visualation tools tools ( Alteryx , Python , Power BI).

• Good Interpersonal skills  

• Excellent command on Verbal and Written communication

B.E / B.Tech with 1~3 years or Diploma with 3~5 years experience

Customer Interface function in any automotive industry

Willing to work in NA Shift timing

Knowledge of quality indicators

Product development

Launch or Plant experience 

Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt
