Workshop Coordinator

JFD India is looking for a responsible Workshop Coordinator for its brand Shanthi Tailors, specializing in classical dance costumes. The Workshop Coordinator will manage daily workshop operations, assign work to tailors, track order progress, and ensure costumes are completed on time and moved to quality check without delays.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management

• Receive order details from showroom and order team
• Assign costumes to tailors based on priority and delivery dates
• Ensure tailors understand design, measurements, and requirements

Production Tracking

• Monitor daily stitching progress of all costumes
• Follow up with tailors to ensure timely completion
• Track pending, ongoing, and completed orders

Coordination

• Coordinate between showroom team, quality checker, and tailors
• Ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays or confusion
• Inform management about delays or issues immediately

Workshop Supervision

• Maintain discipline and organized workflow in the workshop
• Ensure costumes move to Quality Check after completion
• Ensure alteration work is completed properly and on time

Record Maintenance

• Maintain proper records of orders given, completed, and pending
• Ensure all costumes are ready as per delivery schedule

Requirements:

• Experience in garment workshop, tailoring unit, or boutique preferred
• Basic knowledge of garment stitching and tailoring process
• Good coordination and organizational skills
• Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented
