Utility Manager

1)     Responsible for design (Concept / Basic / Detail) of the Utility systems.

2)     Preparation of Concept Document related to all Clean Utility.

3)     Preparation of technical specification of each utility equipment.

4)     Design Equipment Layout, Piping Layout.

5)     Preparation of GA Drawings, Piping Isometrics, Support Drawings with Bill of Material.

6)     Preparation of standard PIDs with respect to design.

7)     Responsible for reviewing and approval for design specification prepared by design engineers and ensures the quality of work done.

8)     Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project team functions to assist in managing engineering execution and project management deliverable.

9)     Identification of new vendors, consultants etc. to fulfill the project specifications time to time.

10) Operation & Maintenance of utility systems (like HVAC, Water system, Refrigeration system, Air Compressor, Cooling tower, Boiler, DG sets etc) as per SOP.

11) Maintenance of plant & machinery as per SOP.

12) To take care of day-to-day engineering activities (like routine maintenance, prevention maintenance, breakdown maintenance, modification) in plant & utilities.

13) Compliance to safety procedures, cGMP & SOPs.

14) To carry out change control, unplanned & planned deviation, CAPA reviews reports, document retention, audit response, review of SOPs.

15) To provide engineering support for equipment qualification of plant & machinery.

16) Coordination & follow ups with purchase team, supplier for procurement of spares, maintain inventory and service related to maintenance & projects.

17) Planning and monitoring the regular activities of calibration.

18) To carry out & ensure the PEST control activities at site as per SOPs.

19) Energy and water conservation initiatives for site.
