Job Description

  • Identify and onboard farmers, FPOs, and local suppliers for fruits & vegetables.
  • Procure required SKUs daily based on forecast and demand from the warehouse.
  • Negotiate prices and ensure competitive buying aligned with business margins.
  • Conduct quality checks at the point of purchase and ensure produce meets standards.
  • Manage daily procurement operations at mandis / farm-gate locations.
  • Monitor supply availability, crop cycles, seasonal trends, and market price fluctuations.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure consistent supply.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, category team, and logistics for planning.
  • Maintain procurement reports volume, pricing, wastage, supplier performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation of invoices, transactions, and supplier details.
