Design Engineer

Role

We are seeking a Structural Designer with strong experience in designing industrial warehouses, mechanical structures, and equipment-supporting frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of steel structure design, detailing, and fabrication drawings, with a focus on functionality, safety, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural layouts and detailed drawings for warehouses, industrial sheds, and machinery-supporting structures.
• Perform load calculations and structural analysis using relevant design codes and software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, material specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits as required for verification and technical support.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in industrial or warehouse structural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, similar design tools.
• Experience with machinery foundations and support structures is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with EPC companies, industrial developers, or manufacturing plant design firms.
• Knowledge of steel detailing and fabrication processes.
