Powder Coating Operator

· Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, or sandblasting.

· Operate powder coating spray guns (electrostatic) to apply even coating.

· Ensure proper thickness and uniform coverage of powder.

· Load and unload parts onto racks or conveyors.

· Operate and monitor curing ovens (temperature, time settings).

· Inspect coated parts for defects such as uneven coating, bubbles, or scratches.

· Perform touch-ups or rework if necessary.

· Maintain coating equipment and replace nozzles, filters, etc.

· Ensure color consistency and correct powder usage.

· Follow production schedules and quality standards.

· Maintain cleanliness of spray booth and work area.
