To support our growth, we are looking for a strong, hands-on HR professional who can independently manage end-to-end HR operations with a major focus on large-scale hiring for shop-floor, technical, and support roles.



Role Summary

The HR Manager / Senior HR Executive will be responsible for recruitment, workforce planning, HR operations, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle management. This role requires ground-level involvement, coordination with production and project teams, and the ability to hire at scale in a manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning (Primary Focus)

  • Handle bulk and continuous hiring for:
  • Fabrication workers
  • Welders, fitters, electricians
  • Panel assembly technicians
  • Engineers (Electrical / Mechanical)
  • Supervisors, helpers, operators
  • Office & support staff
  • Coordinate personal / referral hiring, local sourcing, contractor hiring, and vendor-based manpower.
  • Plan manpower requirements in coordination with:
  • Production
  • Projects
  • R&D
  • Factory operations
  • Conduct interviews, trade tests coordination, and final onboarding.
  • Maintain hiring trackers and manpower dashboards.



2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • End-to-end employee lifecycle management:
  • Joining
  • Attendance
  • Leave
  • Confirmation
  • Transfers
  • Exit & full and final settlement
  • Maintain employee records (physical + digital).
  • Draft appointment letters, offer letters, warning letters, and exit documents.
  • Handle probation reviews and performance follow-ups.



3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Coordinate payroll processing with accounts/consultant.
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • PF
  • ESI
  • Gratuity
  • Factory Act
  • Shops & Establishment Act
  • Labour laws applicable to manufacturing units
  • Handle inspections, audits, and statutory documentation.
  • Liaise with labour contractors and consultants.



4. Factory & Shop-Floor HR Management

  • Handle blue-collar workforce HR issues.
  • Manage shift-based manpower and attendance.
  • Address shop-floor grievances and discipline issues.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and safety norms.
  • Act as a bridge between workers and management.



5. Policy, Discipline & Culture

  • Implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
  • Support management in maintaining a professional and compliant work culture.
  • Assist in building a stable, long-term workforce.



Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in manufacturing / fabrication / Electrical industry HR
  • Proven ability in bulk hiring and manpower planning
  • Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills (English + local language preferred)
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor when required



Qualification

  • MBA / MSW / PG Diploma in HR or equivalent
  • Relevant experience preferred over only academic qualifications



Experience

  • 5 to 10+ years of HR experience
  • Mandatory: Experience in manufacturing / factory / industrial environment



Employment Type

  • Full-time, On-roll



Working Days

  • 6 days a week
  • Factory working hours (day shift; flexibility required)
