Assembly Technician

• Key Responsibilities : Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to drawings, SOPs, and technical specifications.
• Perform mechanical and basic electrical assembly using tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, crimping tools, etc.
• Inspect and test assembled components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Report defects, deviations, or assembly issues to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation of daily production activities.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor assembly-related problems.
• Perform rework or repair tasks as instructed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean practices, etc.).
• Requirements : ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in assembly operations (freshers may be considered based on aptitude).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical components, fasteners, and measurement tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (added advantage).
• Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
