Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Composite Technician with hands-on expertise in composite material processing and manufacturing. The candidate should be skilled in handling composite lay-up, moulding, curing, and finishing activities while ensuring quality, safety, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform composite lay-up operations (hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, infusion processes)
• Handle fiberglass / carbon fiber / resin systems as per work instructions
• Operate and maintain moulds, tools, and equipment
• Carry out resin mixing, curing, trimming, and finishing
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, and SOPs
• Identify and report defects, deviations, or process issues
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and 5S practices
• Support production targets and meet daily output requirements
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality teams for inspections
• Required Skills & Qualifications:ITI / Diploma / relevant technical qualification preferred
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in composite manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and processes
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings
• Experience in wind blade / automotive composite parts is an advantage
• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vacuum infusion / RTM processes
• Awareness of quality tools and inspection methods
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
