Academic Counsellor

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, managing leads, and supporting enrolments through effective counselling and follow-ups. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective candidates and provide detailed counselling on courses and career opportunities.
• Follow up consistently on leads generated through digital and online marketing channels.
• Maintain and update lead information in a structured and easily accessible format (CRM/tools).
• Understand and align with marketing strategies to improve lead conversion rates.
• Coordinate with technical trainers to arrange course demos and ensure accurate information delivery.
• Build strong relationships with potential students and guide them through the enrolment process.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
• Provide timely feedback to the marketing and training teams to optimize strategies and offerings.
• Required Skills & Qualifications2–3 years of experience in academic counselling, sales, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing and online lead generation processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools or lead management systems is a plus.
• Highly motivated, target-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
