Accountant

🎯 Role Overview:

The Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position demands precision, integrity, and a deep understanding of real estate transactions and accounting principles.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for ongoing projects
• Handle taxation matters including GST, TDS, and income tax filings
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for financial audits
• Track project-wise expenses and revenue recognition
• Manage vendor payments and client invoicing
• Ensure compliance with RERA and other real estate-specific financial regulations
• Assist in financial due diligence for property acquisitions and sales
• Support payroll processing and statutory compliance

📚 Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or M.Com preferred)
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, or ERP systems)
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws
• Basic Excel knowledge is mandatory. understanding basic Excel formulae is essential.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
