Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Tax Executive to manage bank reconciliations, TDS verification & filing, income tracking, and invoicing processes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation compliance, and financial documentation.

1. Key Responsibilities1. Bank Reconciliation (BRS)

• Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and ledger entries.
• Coordinate with banks for transaction clarifications.

2. TDS Verification & Filing

• Verify TDS deductions as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act 1961.
• Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
• Reconcile TDS with Form 26AS.
• Ensure timely issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16/16A).
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for compliance.

3. Income Management

• Track and record all revenue transactions accurately.
• Maintain income registers and reconcile with bank credits.
• Prepare income reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with GST and income tax provisions.

4. Invoicing & Billing

• Generate and issue accurate tax invoices.
• Ensure GST compliance in invoicing as per Goods and Services Tax regulations.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices and credit notes.
