Advocate

We are looking for an Advocate to handle payment recovery, legal enforcement, and credit discipline in our B2B trading operations. This is a hands-on role involving legal action, field-level follow-ups, and coordination with police, courts, brokers, and defaulting parties.

The role goes beyond drafting and litigation and requires direct involvement in enforcement and recovery execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recovery of overdue receivables through legal and strategic enforcement
• Draft and issue legal notices; handle NI Act (Section 138) cheque bounce cases
• Advise on and initiate FIRs / criminal complaints where legally appropriate
• Coordinate with police authorities, courts, and local advocates
• Personally attend critical recovery meetings and field visits when required
• Advise management on credit risk, documentation, guarantees, and preventive controls
• Track recovery cases and ensure timely follow-up and closure

Requirements

• LLB with active Bar Council enrolment
• 5+ years experience in recovery, NI Act, or criminal litigation
• Practical exposure to cheque bounce cases and police coordination
• Willingness to travel and handle field-level enforcement
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with commercial understanding
