Job Description

Assistant HR Manager – Consolidated Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage complete employee records including personal files, contracts, ID cards, statutory and insurance documents
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities: probation confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations, exits, and full & final settlements
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for site and corporate positions including interviews, offer letters, joining formalities, and induction
  • Conduct new employee induction training in coordination with the Operations Team
  • Cross-verify employee joining details and ensure timely employee code generation
  • Coordinate with site teams for attendance, overtime, leave, and wage inputs
  • Perform final verification of site attendance and submit data for payroll and invoicing
  • Prepare payroll data, paysheets, and submit for audit verification
  • Support payroll processing and salary run in coordination with Accounts & Finance
  • Generate and distribute salary slips to employees
  • Oversee salary account opening and activation
  • Monitor, distribute, track, and audit salary advances, including cash salary distribution where applicable
  • Ensure statutory compliance under PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and CLRA
  • Monitor and cross-verify ESI & PF enrollments and prepare statutory data sheets
  • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for statutory matters and liaise with Labour Office and officials
  • Coordinate statutory audits, inspections, and compliance follow-ups
  • Ensure mandatory statutory training for site employees and track completion
  • Maintain employee master data in HRMS / payroll systems
  • Follow up on payroll software implementation and stabilization
  • Conduct site visits and employee meetings at sites and Head Office
  • Act as a primary contact for employee grievances, ensuring timely resolution and support
  • Handle HR-related client meetings, escalations, and workforce issue resolution
  • Provide HR support during new site transitions, mobilization, and takeovers
  • Initiate and execute Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs
  • Plan and coordinate company events with senior management support
  • Handle Corporate GMC and Employee GPA enrollments, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Ensure effective use of MS Excel, HRMS, and payroll systems for reporting and controls
