Job Description

Job SummaryThe Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving daily sales operations, achieving revenue targets, managing the sales team, and ensuring excellent customer experience. This role requires strong leadership, sales planning, and execution skills to grow store performance and brand reputation.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue GrowthSupport in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Assist in planning and executing sales strategies
  • Monitor daily sales performance and prepare reports
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize value
  • Team ManagementAssist in training, motivating, and supervising sales executives
  • Ensure staff follow company SOPs, grooming, and professionalism
  • Help resolve staff issues and improve team productivity
  • Allocate daily targets and track individual performance
  • Customer ExperienceHandle escalated customer concerns professionally
  • Ensure transparent pricing and ethical sales practices
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and store discipline
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Operations & Inventory SupportCoordinate with inventory and purchase teams
  • Ensure correct billing, documentation, and compliance
  • Monitor stock movement and support replenishment planning
  • Assist in store audits and internal checks
  • Marketing & Store PromotionSupport local promotions, offers, and campaigns
  • Coordinate with digital/marketing team for in-store visibility
  • Encourage walk-in conversion and repeat customers
  • Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales or retail management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Good understanding of sales metrics and reporting
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working with targets and performance pressure
