Audio-Video Business Manager

We are looking for a skilled and business-oriented Audio-Video Business Manager to oversee and grow our A/V division. This includes managing commercial A/V projects, home theatre solutions, and all audio-video business across residential, corporate, hospitality, retail, and other segments.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding of A/V solutions, project management capabilities, and the ability to handle clients, vendors, integrators, and internal teams professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Sales
• Identify new business opportunities across segments (commercial, hospitality, corporate, residential).
• Promote and sell A/V solutions such as home theatres, boardroom setups, PA systems, video conferencing, and multi-room audio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and corporate clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
• Project & Technical Management
• Conduct site surveys and provide accurate technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with technicians and installation teams for end-to-end project execution.
• Ensure timely delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality customer satisfaction.
• Operations & Vendor Coordination
• Manage product sourcing, vendor communication, and pricing.
• Ensure proper inventory, order management, and logistics coordination.
• Stay updated with the latest A/V technologies, brands, and market trends.
• Client Interaction & Demonstrations
• Conduct product demos for clients in the showroom or at their site.
• Provide expert consultation to help clients choose the right A/V solutions.
• Handle customer queries, follow-ups, and after-sales support coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of A/V systems (home theatre, projection, audio distribution, large displays, conferencing systems, etc.).
• Experience with brands like Yamaha, Denon, Bose, Sonos, Crestron, Control4, etc. (preferred).
• Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read layout plans and understand wiring diagrams (preferred but not mandatory).
• Project management and client handling experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites or clients.

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field
• Certification in A/V technologies is a plus
