AutoCAD Designer And Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Supervisor & CAD Designer to join our staircase manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both designing customized staircases using CAD software and managing site activities from project initiation to completion. This dual role requires a strong understanding of design, fabrication processes, site supervision, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Drafting:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D staircase designs using AutoCAD (or relevant CAD software) based on architectural plans and client requirements.
• Develop fabrication drawings, assembly details, and material specifications for production.
• Ensure design accuracy, structural stability, and aesthetic appeal in all customized staircase models.
• Revise and update designs based on client feedback and site constraints.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Client Coordination:

• Visit project sites to take accurate measurements and assess design feasibility.
• Interact directly with clients to understand design needs, discuss materials, finishes, and installation schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and updates to clients throughout the project.
• Supervise on-site installation and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.

Fabrication & Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure drawings are correctly interpreted for production.
• Plan and monitor project timelines to meet delivery and installation deadlines.
• Identify and resolve on-site or fabrication-related issues proactively.
• Maintain effective communication between design, production, and site teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and any 3D Software.
• Strong knowledge of staircase design, materials (metal, glass, wood, etc.), and fabrication processes.
• Excellent site measurement and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Good communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in custom staircase design or interior metalwork fabrication.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
• Creative design approach with attention to detail and practicality.
