Branch Manager

Branch Manager serves as the primary leader for a specific location, balancing operational efficiency with business growth. The role typically functions as a Profit & Loss (P&L) center, where the manager is responsible for both the top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability of the branch. 

Core Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales:

Acquire new corporate clients and expand business with existing accounts to meet monthly/quarterly targets.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and new geographical opportunities.

Network to enhance the branch's local reputation and presence.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff, operations executives, and sales teams.

Conduct performance appraisals and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Financial & Administrative Control:

Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and profit enhancement.

Oversee billing accuracy, vendor payment settlements, and debt collections (DSO).

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Require 5–10 years in logistics/ transport operations, with at least 3 years in a Managerial Role.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in any stream.

Competencies:

Strong negotiation skills & Decision Making for dealing with vendors and high-value clients.

Analytical thinking to interpret financial reports and operational KPIs.

Proficiency in logistics software, CRM tools & MS- Excel.
