Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Coimbatore

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Business Development Manager


Role Overview: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the company’s revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Identify and target potential clients and business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospects.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and potential partners.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase products/services and persuade potential clients.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales tactics and business strategies.
  • Negotiation & Closing:
  • Lead negotiations and handle contract discussions to close deals and secure business agreements.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and transition of new clients to the delivery or service teams.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on business development performance and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform strategy.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes:
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
