Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job: Business Development Manager

Location: Coimbatore

Roles and Responsibility:

• Identify and acquire new chit fund subscribers through field sales, referrals, and local marketing activities
• Promote chit schemes clearly and ethically to customers
• Achieve monthly targets for chit enrolment, collection, and revenue
• Develop business in assigned territories and expand branch reach

Team Handling & Leadership

• Lead, guide, and motivate sales executives and field officers
• Allocate daily targets and track individual performance
• Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Handle customer queries, grievances, and retention activities
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

Collections & Compliance

• Ensure timely collection of chit instalments
• Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for smooth auctions and payouts
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory chit fund regulations

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Study competitor chit schemes and market trends
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection reports
• Provide management with insights for improving sales performance
